About Us

The Filipino Association of University Women (FAUW) preserves and shares Filipino traditions, history, and the arts in Hawa’i and beyond. FAUW’s programs include publications featuring Filipino writers from many parts of the world; education initiatives focusing on youth; annual parol-making activities; and support for student writing, film festivals, art tours and exhibits, literacy projects, and cultural displays.

FAUW has partnered with organizations such as the Honolulu Museum of Arts, the Children’s Discovery Center, the Filipino Community Center, the University of Hawai‘i Center for Philippine Studies, the Philippine Consulate General of Hawai‘i; the Friends of the Iolani Palace, and Reiyukai Hawai‘i.
